Privacy Policy

Your data is yours. Strivon runs on your device, doesn't sell personal data, and lets you export or delete everything anytime. GDPR & CCPA covered.

Who we are

Strivon is a running & walking coaching app operated by Axiomar Capital ("Strivon", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, your rights, and how to exercise them. It covers the GDPR (UK/EU) and the CCPA/CPRA (California).

Summary

Your data is yours. The app runs on your device by default; we don't sell personal data, ever; you can export or delete everything at any time from Settings → Your data.

What we collect

You give us: training inputs (goal, experience, height/weight if entered), activities and GPS routes during a session, optional health imports, and — if you post — community content. Automatically: minimal app diagnostics/error logs (on-device), and an account identifier if you sign in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Location data

GPS is used only to record your route, distance and pace while an activity is active (including in the background on the native app, if you allow it). Tracking stops when you finish. Routes stay on your device unless you enable cloud sync. For the Community features we store only a coarse region (~40km) and, for route popularity, a fuzzed ~5km cell — never your exact start point, so your home is never exposed.

Health data

Imported workouts and heart-rate/distance data are processed to compute your fitness, form and injury metrics. Health data is treated as special-category data under GDPR and processed only with your consent. We never sell it or share it with advertisers.

Community content

Posts you share are public and anonymous — shown without your name. Don't post anything you wouldn't want public. You can delete your posts, and report others' via the ⚑ button.

Why we process it (GDPR legal bases)

Consent — health data, background location, optional cloud sync, community posts (withdraw any time). Contract — to provide the coaching service and your account. Legitimate interests — app security, error diagnostics, preventing abuse (balanced against your rights).

Sharing & processors

We don't sell data. We use a small number of processors strictly to run the service: a cloud backend/authentication provider (for optional sync), an AI provider (to generate coach replies from the context you send), map/weather data providers, and payment processing for Pro. Each processes data only on our instructions.

International transfers

Some processors may be outside the UK/EEA. Where they are, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. UK IDTA / EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Retention

On-device data lives until you delete it. If you use cloud sync, your account data is kept until you delete your account, after which it is removed within 30 days (backups purge on their normal cycle). Community posts remain until you delete them.

Your GDPR rights

You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and request portability of your data. Export or delete instantly in-app (Settings → Your data), or contact us. You may withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Your California (CCPA/CPRA) rights

California residents may request to know what we collect, delete it, correct it, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — though we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. We don't discriminate against you for exercising rights. Exercise them in-app or by contacting us.

Children

Strivon isn't directed at children under 16 (13 in the US). We don't knowingly collect their data; contact us to remove any such data.

Security

Cloud data is protected by encryption in transit and row-level security so users can only reach their own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes & contact
